On a day-to-day basis, we build websites and online shops, run campaigns and handle SEO for our clients. Through this work, we also get to know other companies – sometimes as subcontractors, sometimes as service providers whose services we use ourselves. With some of them, our collaboration goes beyond a simple client–contractor relationship.
Working with Imeco – how we reduced our energy costs
As office owners, we pay our electricity bills every month, and for a long time we didn’t give any thought to whether we could save money on them. The bills kept going up, and we just paid them. At some point, we decided to look into it and used energy consultancy Imeco.
To start with, we sent them our electricity bills. The Imeco team checked the contract and showed us exactly how much we were actually overpaying. We were given a clear action plan with specific figures, so we knew straight away how much we stood to gain. After that, they took care of everything themselves:
- They changed our electricity supplier
- they chose a more favourable tariff
- they sorted out the formalities with the operator without involving us
The whole process went ahead without any disruption to our work; we didn’t have to set aside any time for it. The results are evident in our subsequent bills – our energy bills have fallen significantly.
